Boston University – Opioid Prescribing
Synopsis
Boston University's School of Medicine needed a site similar to its "practice circles" in that participants, professionals who treat patients living with chronic pain, could be educated and partake in various exams and surveys in hopes of providing a better understanding of safe and effective opioid prescribing for chronic pain, as well as a certificate for their successful efforts.
I developed and programmed the BU site which involved creating a specialized application that enabled users to actively participate in various video classes and then take corresponding exams in hopes of receiving BUCME credit. I also created the associated content-management system so that site administrators and program directors could manage content, users, and view the results of their large-scale project.
